Case Report A 35-year-old male patient with no known comorbidities other than migraine, and no history of cigarette smoking, illicit drug use, or exposure to pneumotoxic substances, presented to the emergency department with complaints of coughing up, by his own statement, approximately 1000 cc of bright red blood following a 56 hour car journey during which he reported intensive ECs use (Figure 1)

Proposition 56, the California Healthcare, Research and Prevention Tobacco Tax Act of 2016, would add a $2 per pack tax on cigarettes to fund existing treatment programs and services for tobacco-caused diseases, and to also fund public education campaigns aimed at reducing smoking, especially among young people
The larger pack size works well for regular use and helps ensure convenience without sacrificing freshness
