The Wave NW Food Program

Willow Creek Springs has joined in this effort and matched the sponsorship, of donating CBD products along with We Do Better Relief, through The Wave’s ongoing healthy and sustainable food project.

The Wave NW Food Program with many partners including Food Fleet, Alaska Longline Fisherman’s Association (ALFA), Alaskans Own, Alaska Sustainable Fisheries Trust, We Do Better Relief and the Walk 4 Change increases local food recovery, gets people back to work, feeds the food insecure, and shifts to more resilient community food systems. The program is inclusive of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, giving preference to sourcing from these providers and providing healthy and sustainable foods to these communities.

The Tribal Nations are disproportionately affected by the impacts of COVID-19. In this Food Program Model utilizing tribal event and community centers as packaging and distribution facilities, the tribal communities provide for their communities through both increased economic activity and by providing healthy and sustainable food for their consumption

Willow Creek Springs is a proud sponsor of The Wave.
